Rashes and itchy skin more common

"The prevalence of canine atopic dermatitis in developed countries has been growing constantly over the last few decades. Genetic predisposition represents only part of the problem, and environmental factors are believed to be an important boost to the rapid rise in atopic dogs.

Although a complete understanding of the gut–skin axis has not yet been achieved, a growing number of studies demonstrate a close relationship between gastrointestinal imbalance and skin diseases."

What do we see? Commonly, rashes and itchy skin.

Not only that, while it often starts seasonally, as time progresses, it becomes year-round, and more severe. Secondary infections, both bacterial and yeast, frequently develop as self-trauma and inflammation makes the skin more vulnerable.

1 Shiny and Dandruff Free Foster Dog

Excellent. I've been using Bestie for a while now but this was the first time trying the hypoallergenic. My foster greyhound has struggled with tummy flareups and pretty bad dandruff. His dandruff has cleared up and he is SO shiny that he's getting compliments :) Very happy with this mix.

Great product but dog not too keen

Very happy with the product, but my picky eater isn’t too keen. He was ok when I started with a lower amount of bestie with the meat but once we got up to the full quantity of bestie, he’s been reluctant to eat it. Hopefully over time he will get used to it, I love the idea of the mix and so far it seems to be agreeing well with him. Other mixes I’ve tried have thrown his tummy out.

Thanks for that feedback...let's hope it grows on him. You might try as transitional tactics: a light fry up; mixing un a bit of nutritional yeast or bone broth as well; rotating proteins...let me know how you go!

      Hypoallergenic supplement is fabulous

Our experience was great - prompt service and delivery. This product has really helped our little dachshund cross dog with her itch. Took her off it for a while and we really noticed the difference- she started itching again. Her coat is beautiful and soft and shiny as well. Thanks for a great product!!!!

      Switched to Hypoallergenic for good

Trialled this product recently - convinced it’s helped my elderly dog. At 17 his tummy has been very sensitive, I had been using numerous expensive natural ingredients in his food to sort him out. The Bestie Hypoallergenic has it all in one product that’s easy to use and is really helping my old boy. It is well worth it and should also help reduce the licking. Thank you Bestie.

      • Can you share anything more about the reason you switched to bestie...was there something going on health-wise? Vet was concerned with high levels of liver enzymes, which has improved since being on Bestie Balancer for approx 3 yrs. the Hypoallergenic is the next level. Thank you.
