The Aaah comes in an easy-to-feed mini chew that tastes great and needs no cutting or breaking. At about 2.5g per chew, it’s the perfect size for older dogs and older hands.
This unique format is the result of our R&D work as part of a CSIRO Kickstart Research Project.
Each pack has about 60 chews. That’s about one month’s supply for a 10kg dog.
Research and clinical experience has shown the ingredients in The Aaah to be effective in helping support your dog's healthy skin. They’re in The Aaah in clinically effective quantities.
10 billion CFU of a heat-treated lactobacillus paracasei and lactobacillus rhamnosus blend per chew plus Chinese Foxglove (Rehmannia glutinosa), Chinese Peony (Paeonia lactiflora) and Chinese Liquorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra) extracts, algal extract, carrot fibre, Kakadu Plum, Aniseed Myrtle, olive fruit extract and gelatin, water, canola oil, glycerine, tapioca starch, salt, beef bone broth, MCHA bone meal.
Skin complaints are common and typically need what's called a 'multimodal' approach, to reduce inflammation, increase antioxidant activity and modulate the gut microbiome.
Skin complaints are common! A dynamic balance of oxidants
and antioxidants exists in healthy skin, and any imbalance can lead to skin problems.
Not only that, but many skin conditions can be the result of gut dysbiosis and increased intestinal permeability, which may arise even in the absence of GI clinical signs.
That’s why The Aaah seeks to reduce inflammation, increase antioxidant activity and modulate the gut microbiome.
2nd Brain probiotic blend
There is a deep and bidirectional connection between the gut and skin and probiotics are increasingly an integral part of the recommended multimodal approach. This blend of heat-treated lactobacillus paracasei and lactobacillus rhamnosus gives 5 billion CFU per chew.
Australian native superfoods
Aniseed Myrtle and Kakadu Plum have outstanding antioxidant
activity. Unlike most other fruits, Kakadu Plum contains both hydrophilic and lipophilic antioxidants. These increase bioavailability of compounds, which may provide more comprehensive protection from oxidative stress.
Chinese traditional herbs
Chinese Foxglove (Rhemannia glutinosa), White Peony (Paeonia lactiflora), and Chinese Liquorice
(Glycyrrhiza uralensis) have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and antimicrobial properties. Catalpol is a key active in Chinese Foxglove.
This is a blend of the combination of two biologically active macroalgal extracts. A green algal extract that reinforces innate and adaptive immune responses and a red algal extract, which enhances the barrier function of the intestinal mucosa.
OIive fruit extract
Olive fruit is rich in polyphenolic compounds to act as a prebiotic and an antibacterial. In addition to antioxidant properties, phenolic compounds found in olive fruit extract also exhibit anti-inflammatory effects.
